Just wanted to post quickly and express just how talented I think these guys are. I was first told about the band through a friend of mine at Lava and decided to give the album a chance. Great production and music. Of course I'm waiting until September when they make it out here to play Locobazooka to verify that Smile Empty Soul is not just another "studio band."

Hopefully if I am as pleased with their live set as I have been with their CD I will have no qualms about running an article on them. Kudos to another hard working band getting signed to a excellent label. Atlantic/Lava is one of the most rock/punk/emo friendly labels not setting boundaries. I'm curious, since you mention medication, drugs to make you feel alive, etc.

OK, I can't say you guys are my favorite band but you guys have power. I'm from Temecula California and am also in a band. Although the band is only a year old and the members aged 15-17 were more musically talened than many of these blink 182 wannabeee bands. Lets all face it, punk sucks! Ive played a couple of gigs. Nothing too big but....we have half an album done. I jut wanted to let all you guys from S.E.S. that they have helped keep the blance between great and terrible music even by releasing their album! They rock!

Hey, aww =( ...poor deer...oh yea... i have a true story that my grandma told me... my grandma lives in a wooded area so there are deers all over the place...so one day there was a deer in front of her house and a big truck hit the deer, so of course my grandms thought it was dead...so she went outside to see if it was dead, but when she looked at it, it picked up its head and stared at her...she was really freaked out so she got her portable phone to call the police to kill it because it was suffering...so when the police came she went into her house...she was watching out the window when the police man shot the deer, but after he shot it once it was still alive, so then he shot it again and that didnt do anything, but when he shot it one last time it died...
