How's it going all. My name is Cory, we hung out at that airport in KC for a while and then at the 9:30 club a month or so ago..I was with a really big dude. Anyways, it was great seeing you all again in concert, I talked to Chuck about maybe getting Smile Empty Soul to perform in Baltimore sometime...a band you performed with Agents of the Sun attended our Spring Fair here at Johns Hoopkins and it was fantastic. I hear now that they are looking for bands to perform and its easier for them to get things together if bands come to them. I'll do my best to talk you all up, not like you need it though. Haha. Anyways, our Fair is a huge event every year, students from at least 3 surrounding colleges attend the events here...you would blow shit up in concert! Hey, I was at the 30th show in Portland. And yes, being the tired person that I am, doing the broken record thing sounds good and I'm going to tell you that you rocked.
I am a horribly opinionated person (fueled by growing up in Portland) and I just wanted to say, that in my no way professional opinion I think you should have been headlining that show. The other four bands were good and all, but I paid the $10 to see you guys and only you guys. Day shows are not my thing and neither are radio ones, but HOW COULD I SAY NO TO YOU?????? I know you've heard it a million times, so make it a million and one, but I love you guys.
I've had the CD for a couple months and it's still hasn't left my player. (And being the fickle bitch that I am, that's really saying something)

Smile Empty Soul is a band that can cover almost every angle of music. From the slower songs like "The Other Side" to the harder songs like "Bottom of a Bottle". They also cover many emotional sides of music. They don't simply concentrate on one subject. I hope that they can keep it up. Good Luck to you guys.

You guys have to be the best band I've heard live...jeeze, I'm not kidding. My friends took me to see yall in concert with Trapt for my 18th birthday and I was speechless. I went out and bought your CD about three days later. (I woulda gotten it at the concert, but I needed to get paid first.) I now fall asleep and wake up to your music- whch may or may not scare you, but I've never done that with another cd...ANYWAY...about the music...the lyrics on your cd are so fuckin powerful, you don't even know. They explain what I'm going through right now and it just calms me to know that I can sit with my bass and play along with your music- so thanks for that. First of all, Smile Empty Soul kicks ass!! I went to your concert on September..uh 6th (Surprised my mom actually let me go... she's such a control freak. She has a cow everytime she leaves me home alone and I'm 14 years old; I'm stuck at church twice a week listening to things I'm believing less and less. Sometimes I really can't stand her.) But anyway, the concert was awsome. I went out and bought your CD afterwards and I've listened to it over and over. I love your songs. They have a powerful message plus I can relate to what you're saying. Another thing, after you played the concert you came down and were signing t -shirts and talking with fans. You weren't these unreal people up on the stage; you were there just as approachable as anyone else in the room. I thought that was really damn cool. Shit, this is getting long, so I'll shut up. I went to see Seether and Trapt at Bogarts in cinci and when we got there you guys had just started playing. I looked over at my buddy Mike and was like who the fuck are these guys? You totally blew me away. I am a very picky person and i thought your sound was totally unique. I really felt the music and the intensity.
