hey kids whats crankin' off? Everyone in our camp is doing very well. Sorry we havent been keeping up with the journals we have been keeping extremely busy playing crazy shows every day. Now that i have a minuete i will tell you whats been going on with us!
well, we just ended the jim beam tour with trapt and 3 days grace. i already miss hanging out with everyone. we were really fortunate to tour with 2 great bands that ended up being really cool people. if you didnt know 3days grace is a kick ass band from toronto and they are great friends of ours. it was a privlage touring with them for 6 weeks it made me want to practice and play extra hard! we played the norvo theatre in norfolk va. It was our last show with trapt and we toured with those motherfuckers for fucking ever(4 1/2 months
) usually when bands tour for a while on the last show they usually play practical jokes on each other. So when we were on stage about to play bottom of a bottle trapt and their crew came on stage and silly stringed the fuck out of us. it was the second biggest mess( the biggest was later...)i had ever seen in my life. Multi colored string everywhere all over dereks drums, my bass, my hair, seans guitar. it was a pain to clean up but we got them back even better. when they(trapt) started playing headstrong we threw wads of wet toilet paper from side stage at the band. after that we each went on stage wih 1 pound of flour. we antiqued the shit out of trapt on stage
i threw flour all over pete the bass player and simon the guitarist. it was fucking money...so money. anywho, it was great touring with trapt for that long. we all got to know each other really well and they are some the coolest guys i have met on the road. That goes for the 3 other bands we toured with Seether, steriogram, and 3days grace. well i gotta go do a sound check. i will try and do more journal entries. and i will try to read all your responses but its really hard cause there are alot.

[hey guys, this is kinda long =)]Well to start off..i am a really big fan of your group..me and my best friend actually.. it all started when we were listenin to the radio trying to find some kick ass rock songs to listen to and write down to check out..and we heard "bottom of a bottle" and we just loved it.. we sang it the whole night and downloaded it the next day at my house. We listened to it over and over and over. That was like our "theme" song because it hit us so deeply, like it was written about us. You guys know how to write truthful lyrics. SO after that, we looked to see if you had anymore songs, which we didnt want to rip you guys off and dl all your songs and not buy the album.(which i do have the album now and it is like my music bible, hehe) But we found songs, dl them all, and let me tell you they are the best songs i have ever heard, truthfully. They are like so true, it's like everyone can relate to them. So we heard in August, a couple days before i had to go home to SC (i was visitin my dad in Ohio) that you were playing at the Agora staduim and i swear we could not stop talking about it. We printed out the flyer and we like carried it everywhere, bragging about gettin to go to yalls concert. Well somethin fucked up happened.. i had to leave Ohio early because of my damn school ID crisis (turns out i didnt NEED to come home early, my school was just being difficult like always) so i had to miss the concert, and i was truly heartbroken because we really wanted to see it along with trapt and 3 days grace (yall are all my fav bands) so now i still have that empty feeling of me missing out on the best day of my life..seeing yall, my all time fav band. But HOPEFULLY i will get to sneak to Myrtle Beach on the 18th of October to see yall play with Fuel. I love you guys(as possible as it is to "love" someone you don't know)..i feel almost like i know all of you. Well good luck with all of the tours and everything and KICK SOME ASS!! I'm from Idaho and I know Boise isn't much compared to most cities out there, but we love our music and the bands that produce it. I went to see Seether and Trapt at Bogarts in cinci and when we got there you guys had just started playing. I looked over at my buddy Mike and was like who the fuck are these guys? You totally blew me away. I am a very picky person and i thought your sound was totally unique. I really felt the music and the intensity. You have become one of my new fav bands along with your friends 3 Days Grace. I also got the luxury of seeing your show at X-fest in Dayton Ohio. So glad they added you guys to the list there. it was sad to hear the green young, young boys next to me screaming "f--k the church" (with a hesitance in their voice waiting for the approval of the crowd) when you were talking about "every sunday" and calling girls ugly -- thinking they were cool. wish i opened my mouth, but i let the kids be kids (and i respect my children's wishes and right to be free -- but i also teach them respect and love for people as hard as that may be today) -- maybe too many parents are letting their kids do their own thing and no one seems to have respect for each other anymore. ironically, being insulting makes them feel good about themselves :( --
i definitely could relate to your feelings on lyrics for 'every sunday' and the hypocracy of it all -- but all us catholics aren't bad people... that's exactly the way it was planned to be.. a breakdown in the church and everyone turns to the evil side. it's sad watching it happen.

It sickens me to see so many people say one guy is hott. It really disses the band. That's why I "DON'T LIKE" people in one way. I can't dream of one, you must have the whole band. I just wanted you to know what an amazing honor and priveledge it was to be able to see you. I drove 3 hours just to stay for your 8 song set, and I was thrilled that you guys were back at the merch counter giving autographs. Thanks to Ryan for making the George Washington on my dollar bill look like Adolph Hitler. I'll definitely be making the trip to see you guys again the next time you're in Dallas, and I;m hoping you guys get a headlining tour soon because 8 songs just isn't enough.
