Hey Derek Derek Derek. It's sweet ass Stefani from Austin. My law class is kicking me in the maximus (OUCH!) and I'm currently missing the Super Bowl to study for a test I have tomorrow. But I thought I'd take a break to shoot some ideas your way that I previously sent to your email addy. Sit back, b/c this could take awhile, since it IS my major and everything. I'm sure ya'll know all about the whole complimentary merchandise/tickets/backstage passes/meet and greets. You could also do a lyric/song writing contest and collaborate with the winner's author in its performance. You and your band members or one member from your band could switch lives with one lucky winner for a day. I don't know how much your label loves you yet (ha ha! - I'm not a jerk, i'm only kidding) but if you guys end up travelling outside of the country some lucky people could win a round trip package to see/meet you. There could be a contest to win a night out with the band. A lucky fan(atic) could win an all access pass to the shooting of one of your videos. My last idea is not written without ulterior motives. Someone (not me, of course, but someone who needs a PR internship this summer to graduate) could win a summer intern. w/ SES. That's about all I have for now. I hope this helped. I don't know what your fanbase is but I think it would be funny if someone won a prom date with you guys. It's not statutory if no one knows! Kidding. Or, someone could win a performance by ya'll at their prom. As far as your own promotions go, you could try reality TV. It's a good concept that hasn't been used. I don't know how much longer the format will be around or how you feel about reality TV and you do risk gaining notoriety for the wrong thing, but if you waited until you were more established it could be a great way to connect with, gain and establish more fans.
