Jessie, believe it or not, Starbucks is a WONDERFUL company to work for, as long as you don't have a tyrant for a boss. It's not the least stressful position ever, but the health insurance (which includes optical and i think dental), stock options, paid vacations and sick leave you can acquire are definitely worth it! There is great potential for advancement into managerial positions and since they're located nationally and worldwide, your travel options are unlimited! It's not that exciting, but you get a free 1/2 lb. of coffee or tea a week, too. Anyway, I lost my job there b/c I irresponsibly decided to take a trip to mexico instead of showing up to work for a few days . . . You should look into it - I think starting pay is about $7.50/hr. and raises are not that difficult to come by. AND you can work part time and still qualify for all the same benefits as the full time employees!

She "stole" the drummer from a former local band that broke up. He's really good even tho he's only been playing for two years. (He said he has no life other than his music) They rehearsed yesterday, and he's putting the drum stuff to her stuff. They sounded so good! She also has a good bass player, but she's in MD, about 4 hrs. away. But she is willing to travel so it's all good I guess. HOping to get a demo done by May. Anyway, I love when u guys write in the journal! Ryan needs to write some tho. But I understand about the way of the bass player. keep a low profile!LOL! u guys take care! Can't wait to see the new video. And I'm REALLY glad MTV is finally going back to it's roots and playing music videos for a lot of their air time again. Yay!

God shit sucks right now-
Abbys dad is a dick, i get paid 5.15 and work like three days a week and go to school and i have to pay 160 for abbys preschool and he wont fuckin help me ahhhhhhhhhh! I guess he is a good dad when he is around but thats not much anyway, thank god i grad in may and i can get a better job! Any way- i was listening to your cd on my way to school and i was jamin and like being hella stupid, head banging and just lookin stupid as hell to try and cheer myself up and this cop pulls me over b/c he thought i was drunk, oh well i kinda felt better after the cop pulled off casue i know he felt stupid. Anyway- when you guys comming around kansas city casue i really wanna go to a concert. I mean alot of my guy friends are in bands but going to a band practice is not as fun as a concert, one of my friends really been trying to get big him and some his friends but the dumb ass thinks its just gonna happen, all he does is sit around his house all day tell his brother gets out of school and thay can all go practice. but he has no job, no car, no liscence, and he lives with his grandparnets he is 20 and will be 21 soon. I tell him he is not gonna get big over night and you cant just sit around and wait like youll get a record deal by sitting on your ass! He didnt even grad. from high school. I feel really bad for him b/c his mom is a bitch and does really give him much support or motavation but he needs to do something b/c he is my really good friend and he is really talented with the guiatar and he sings real good but thats not gonna get himanywhere in the real world if he doesnt get a job or do something with his life. His brother has the same shitty family but he goes to school and he has a job and plays the drums in a band! Sorry bout bitching likt that im jsut sick of people sitting around doing nothing with thier life, i try and try to help but fuck it im done, i have sacraficed so much to help them and they still wont do anything. Fuck it me and Abby are gonna do great im not spending the rest of my life with a loser who wont get a job and help his dughter and my friend is not gonna get anywhere with what he is doing, yeah im thier for them if they need someone to talk to but i cant help them anymore, they have to help them selves. Anyway- You guys really are talented and im sorry to bitch but thanks for giving me a place to do it. I suppose I failed to ask this question. Why should it matter who backs these guys as long as they're making a profound positive difference in the community they contact? Of course they're making a profit, but don't psychiatrists do, too? And I suppose you'll say that that is exactly the problem. We should not be capitalists. Of course, although I'm not trying to be anti-communist in the least bit, I am saying that our country was founded on the basis of capitalism. Although capitalism does have its problems, so too do other economic systems. We don't live in a utopian society. Do you have a perfect solution to a seemingly pretty good system we already have in place in America? Let me know what it is and patent it before you do because you could make millions!

Or don't patent it because if you make millions you'd be giving in to the capitalist nature of our society!
