Well anyway, my friend had an extra ticket for your concert so I decided to go since I've heard of trapt well anyway after the concert i fell in love with your music. i was never really into that kindof music before but after you guys performed and i heard your songs, my style of music totally changed. Hey Derek! Congrats on the soundtracks . . . that's really huge! I hope all is well on tour and that you guys make enough time to stop and rest sometimes. So, the kids' book is definitely done and this time I'm serious. I sent it to a friend of mine who works at a publishing house in La. (John Wiley and Sons) and she likes it!!! So I'm just waiting for her to get back to me with some contacts (JWS is primarily scholastic if i'm not mistaken). And there are a few people interested in illustrating it for me, one of whom is married to Danny from Fragile System. This is all really exciting!!! I can't wait until I have the finished product in my hands and can see it on the shelves. ha ha! I have a couple of other ideas in the works, too. Monday morning bright and early I have surgery. The thought of general anesthesia is scurrrry to say the least - cross your fingers. Finally, I'll be in L.A. (all the way from Austin) May 20th-27th so if there's anything you can suggest for me to do let me know. I already plan to see FRACTIONAL so hopefully they'll perform that week. And I'll be at your show on the 21st. Well, it's like 5 a.m. and I have a job interview at URBAN OUTFITTERS!!! at 12 noon. Did you really think you wouldn't "make it?" Hey I was at the SnoCore in Portland, ME last night and you guys rocked so hard. It was amazing. Your set was one of the best I had ever seen. I got my ticket signed by two out of three SES members - which was beautiful. It made my night worth going. I was sick as hell with something similar to Strep throat and dragged my ass all the way to Portland just to see you guys. Last night was the best concert I have ever been to...Thank you.

I was reading through this list and could not very many guys who write stuff. I guess that is good for an all guy band but hey. My name is kevin I saw you guys 2 times in albuquerque once at a small battle of the bands show and once with Puddle of mudd. I must say you guys kick ass live. My fiend Mike bought your CD and I had to borrow it. I must say you are the first band in a while that has something to say. I can listen to your cd from start to finish with no problems. Then I bought your cd accedentally the ammended version they bleep out so many words anti christ and all kinds of the impotant things like "needle sticks". Other side is a great song. Needless to say I had to buy your CD again. Anyway Dang I have been in a band for a while We have went threw a lot of singers just no one to fill the part. i heard you were the sinnger out of neccesity how the heck did you go about changing the music to sing and play or did you just make new songs? I can sing alright and I learn some parts of your songs to try to play and sing It is tough at first I cant usually complete all of your songs because I have not found any tabs. My point is how do you become confident enough to play and sing when singing can be a challange? Sorry for writing a book I just am an aspiring musician and hope we make it soon or at least get further towards our goal. I find myself at shows not wanting to be there because it becomes depressing I dont know if you have ever felt like that or not.
