Hey Derek! I will be seeing to guys in Columbus at the end of this month! It will be the third time I have seen you guys live! I think some good groups for you to go on tour with would be Chevelle, Seether, Blindside, Stroke 9, Shinedown, Unloco, hmm cant think of anymore right off the top.

Also hey Derek after the concert in Columbus there is a place in the back where they keep the buses I have got to talk to Chevelle there before and I was wondering if you guys would be hanging out there too after the show? I REALLY want to meet you guys. Thanks!

haha tiffany, #2 isnt bad either, but yeah i would have to say that Dereks mom is the #1 fan in santa clarita. since theres a #1 fan in all the different cities, i will name myself, the #1 fan in Rancho Cucamonga.hehe. my exit exams went well, i thought it was gonna be a ton of hard stuff, but it was stuff that i knew. those 2 days were good coz i only had to go to 5th and 6th period. and i got to hang out with my friends in the 2nd lunch, coz i have first, but its over now, and its back to the same old schedule.

i know you guys have already gone on tour with three days grace, but maybe you guys can do it again? 1 awesome band + another awesome band= 1 awesome kick ass concert! Doug was talkin bout the possibilty of Fractional doing some shows with Smile Empty Soul towards the end of may, that would be awesome. story of the year is also another good band. too bad the tour with puddle of mudd didnt come to cali, all the people that got to go are so lucky. as soon as i heard about puddle of mudd and smile empty soul were goin on tour together, i got so happy. i kept checkin sites everyday to see if it would come to cali, but unfortunately it didnt.

Derek please pick 12 Stones.I'm a grown adult.But i love that band.Not because i think they are cute.But because i love their music.Plus the first time i saw them.I was going through a lot with my family.Almost didn't get to see them.Glad i didn't miss seeing them.I was a totall wreck at their concert.This was back in April 2002.Back then i had no idea what the guys looked like.Just knew a few of their songs.Well 2 of them.Eric and Paul approched me and were really kind and asked me if i was ok.I was not ok.I am the type of person who never gets noticed by people.I even went to that concert alone.Didn't know anyone at the club.Paul and Eric were the only people in the lace to talk to me.Because of their actions and their music later on.I became a big fan.I don't think they have been given a fair chance.In the music business.They have been unfairly labled a Christian band.Yes some members of the band have their faith.But all 3 times i have been around Paul.He has never mentioned religion.I like SES a lot to.But at least you get radio play.I know if more heard of 12 Stones.Then have a better shot at becoming known.Not to beg or anything but please have them tour with you.Bye See Ya Guys March 30th.Take Care Shannon http://www.freewebs.com/shan12stones/index.htm

Hey Sean, Ryan and Derek ... Apryl here :) Thanx for KIT while on the road. It's great to see the band having such great communication with their fans ... I am SO stoked that SES will be headlining your own tour. Wow - How awesome is that? You deserve all the credit in the world .. I saw you guys play in NJ and it was the best time. My friend and I left after your set .. we didn't really care about Trapt. LOL Oops .. We'll see you all again tonight in Mattydale, NY .. it's about 4 1/2 hrs away but we're young and have all the time in the world so why not right? Road trip!! It's good to see that people are FINALLY starting to figure out the SES is not like any other band out there .. UNIQUE (for lack of a better word :)

hey derek its caitlin and sarah! we are so glad your going on a headlining tour after snowcore because we have missed you all three times you have been to boston!!! grr.... anyway we are SO COMING!!! so make sure you dont leave Boston out on your tour because surprosingly a lot of of bands do... its really sad :( we have some sugggestions for your support band or an opening act first a serious suggestion: Avenged Sevenfold they kick ass!!! i dont know if you have heard of them or not but they're an underground hardcore/punk/rock ish. and then of coarse there are our friends band "make your own" lol they really kick ass! theyre a punk band and they won at our battle of the bands contest at our high school... and we're only freshmen so it was really amazing and exciting because they beat all of the senior bands and other upper classmen!!! and a guy from WBCN radio (alternative rock staion in New England) asked them for their CD (which comes out in april) so he can possibly play them on the radio! i dont know we thought it was pretty cool! oh they also may be playing with "kicked in the head" too! haha anyway just a suggestion that you dont even have to take seriously.... but avenged sevenfold is really good and you should consider them! thats all for now! so the lead singer used to be this fat guy. i dont know his name, so lets call him bob. the group had a meeting with their record label one day and bob couldnt go. during the meeting, the record label told the group that they wouldnt sell if they kept bob, and they gave the group an ultimatum: either lose bob, or lose the label. the group voted bob out (while bob wasnt even there) and the record label hired them another singer.

i dont know if this is true. i dont know the guy that told me very well, but he doesnt seem like the kind of person who would lie about anything. now at every SOTY concert i scream "wheres the fat guy?" and people around me have heard the same story, so they yell it with me. that was seriously dick-ish if its the truth.

Hey Guys!! i was at yer concert last night in mattydale with my friends toni, brynna and becca. I gave derek 3 hugs, and when i went up and asked him if it was him, he said no. dont worry derek, i would be able to tell you apart from a million look alikes in a second. You guys rocked soo hard, you had the most reaction from the crowd, everyone was screaming, jumping, it was fucking awesome. im so excited to be on yer DVD, i cant believe no one else came up to u guys before the concert asking for hugs and autographs. You guys should have Third Eye Blind as your main support act. Just... because they're awesome, too! They're a band that's all about the music and I love 'em just as much as I love you guys! Buuuuut, I highly doubt that that'll happen. Have you ever even heard of Third Eye Blind before? I hope you have, because if you haven't I'm gonna have to hurt you. :P

Interesting fact: It was my brother's birthday yesterday ( March 19 ). He's now 20-years-old. I got him into liking you guys, too! How uber is that? Also, another little fact: I have two drawings done for Sean. I just haven't colored 'em yet. Heh, I'm kind of lazy. But hopefully I'll have them done by the end of this weekend! Unfortunately i didnt really start listening to u guys until i saw u perform on the snocore tour in jersey and then i visited ur website and fell in love with ur music. sometimes i'll hear a song by a band and it'll hit close to home, but for me ur whole cd does that. i've gone through a lot of crap the past couple years that left me confused about pretty much everything, and then i listened to therapy, that song is what i feel like, especially the last couple lines about people trying to help but not being able to change how u see things. i hope that u guys continue to make such honest music b/c it helps me get through the day. i just watched the interview that u guys have on ur website and i was really glad to hear sean talk about the music b/c on the journals its usually derek and ryan. i also wanna say that i appreciate ur involvement in politics or at least ur interest in it, b/c i debate with my friends about voting and even my mom isnt registered to vote, so i went to that website that u have on ur cd, moveon.org and signed up, i think its a great idea. my last comment is that i was wondering what MRA means? i feel like a dork for asking but i have no clue. if u dont respond to this thats cool, cuz obviously ur on tour and get tons of fan mail but if u do thats cool too. so i guess overall i just wanna thank u for making real music that has meaning, u guys are amazing!! Hey guys, I saw you in Stuthers the other night, and I was in awe. I couldn't even snap out of the coma i was in to headbang. That was THE BEST DAMN SHOW EVER!!!! I apologize to Trapt, but they sucked. They put me to sleep. There was no way in hell they were gonna top you guys. Your Unplugged show at The Cellar beforehand was better than them. Hell i even saw old people jumpin around with their hands in the air. After that show everyone i know has gone out and bought the CD. Today was a bad day. I became a statistic.My dad hit me for the first time today.I walked into the school crying.I have a big bruse on the bottom of my face now....it hurts.And he said I cant go to Oneighty again.That hurt worst than the hit.Oneight is the place I go to and im actually happy,its on wensdays..the only day i look forword to...the only reason i wake up in the morning...to know im one day closer to being able to see the only 2 true friends i have.Kyle and Sean.They mean the world to me and I cant even see them or hear their voices agin because he also took my phone.Why do parents have to be so evil to their kids??I became a part of what Ive been trying to teach not to do.What am I gonna do?

hey guyz i loved the video! it rocked but damn launch kept freezing and the first time i watched it it froze of derek 4 the last 30 secs. as hott as derek is i wanted 2 c the rest of the video. so after finding it a second time and playing it again it played and there weren't as many "bufferings" as b4 but the thing kept freezing on sean. ur hott 2 sean but i wanted 2 c the rest of the friggin video so in the 9 mins i'v been online i'v seen the video 3 times. :)
