today in history class, my teacher was talking about the Holocaust because thats what we are studying. She was saying that during the Holocaust, Hitler used his totalitarian authority to kill 6 million Jewish people because he said the are "enemy of the State" well after September 11th, Pres. Bush took like a ton of Arab people and sent them to Cuba because he thought that they were connected to Osama bin Laden. Well he released the other guys but he kept 2 guys and they are STILL in Cuba, in windowless cells. Bush did that coz the said that they are"Enemies of the State". My teacher said that the Supreme Court is meeting about it because its a violation of the due process of law. yeah, i thought that that was very interesting.

Anywho, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is UBER AWESOME! Have you ever seen the movie they made of it?? It's a little weird, but definitly cool! And Transformers is okay, but I've always been a bigger fan of Beast Wars. Did you ever watch that? It was basically the same, but besides having the Autobots and Decepticons, they had the Maximals and Predacons who could transform into animals ( besides vehicles ). I just totally loved it when I was little ( probably because I'm an animal lover ) but now I don't see it on TV anymore... Huh, how sad, 'eh?

Oh, and sadly enough, I've never heard of Voltron! Though, I am only 14 and probably not old enough to have heard of or seen A LOT of '80s cartoons. :P

AND! That's not all! There's a concert May 9th that I was plannin' on goin' to so I COULD meet you guys ( and give you my drawings ) BUT as you probably know from my unpositive post ( HAHA ), the tickets are sold out. :(

Hey Guys. When I first heard Bottom of a Bottle I felt something weird. It was like this could be something. After doing a little info search on you, I got interested after watching the 3 music videos and went out and bought your cd. yeah, and your music really means something to me and my step sister Tawnya. We are starting a band and are hopefully gonna make it big. Maybe even to the point where we can meet you. Yeah, and your song This Is War is helping us. Our friend Alan was sent over seas for the war and so we listen to that song to remember him. (sorry this is so long) Then all the other songs have hepled us more then enough times. We have major family problems, and instead of doing stupid crap like killing ourselves or OD on messed up junk, we listen and are relieved and are able to continue. Yeah, I hope you're enjoying the star life, less then a year and you go from a van to a bus. I would like to say congrats to you all.

Hello people that read these journals! well i got some new news for you guys. i went to the Steriogram site right now (www.SterioGram.com) and they got some new stuff that has to do with SES. if you go to the NEWS section of Steriogram's site, you can read a message from Brad, the guitarist. i am not gonna post the whole message coz it doesnt have to do with SES, but this part does: We are looking forward to the Smile Empty Soul tour that starts on May 30th and goes through till our warped tour shows in July that are up around the north west and Canada.

and then if you go to the GIGGUIDE section of their site, they have 2 dates with SES, i am sure theres gonna be many more, but thats all they have for now. here they are:

hey guys,
why does when one part of your life seem to be going good the rest of everything goes to shit. ijust had the worst week of my young life. first off on monday i found out that my boyfriend had another girl over last weekend the same night that i wasn't allowed to come over bcuz my dad wont let me date....sting....i buyed all of his story too because i love him and i honestly think he's a straight up guy but god that just tore me up, ya know. and then on wednesday in gym these stuck up preppys or whatever you call them i prefer stupidpeople, decided to start shit with me and teased me and my friends about being bisexual (which we are not) and then they decided to tease me about my history of anorexia and how fat i am now which is low. they wouldn't stop and my friend got so pissed off that she told one of the girls she was going to slit her throat, they laughed and continued to call her psycho then they threatened to kill me and i was like i'll be too busy eating...anyways they told the "resoponsible authorities" about what my friend said and i told them what they said to me and guess who is in trouble? my friend and not them. gosh ppl make me mad. and now she is up for expulsion. and it gets better. friday night i had a dance performance and our dance got cut off to 5 eight counts because the band stopped playing because someone cut off the track and my boyfriend was playing bass. great. and my dad got mad at me and he is now on a cruise on the ocean somewhere.....grrr...wow i talk too much i just had to let loose somewhere ya know. sorry guys. but the one thing that really helped me through this week was your cd. you guys kick ass. have fun and i will have even more fun voting for you about a hundred more times. but you guys have to promise not to sell out, or never come back to charleston because you'll be like all big and famous...lol...well g2g.

Gainesville, Florida is the absolute best city in Florida; i've lived in Flroida all my life, and I've been all over.. and I just think that if you can, whenever you go on tour again (in this part of the country) you guys should play in Gainesville. The Rolling Stones, The Plasmatics, The Grabass Charlestons, and a lot of other good bands have played there, and now it's your turn!

I was talking to some people around me before you guys got on stage and they were like "oh these guys are the guys w/that 'i do it for the drugs song'" but by the time you guys were done you guys had definitely gained a bunch of new fans. Everyone I talked to said you guys were awesome...I am so pumped for you guys!!! Definitely get good exposure at big shows like that! Great job!!! I must say it was a fuckin' KILLER set! Did you guys get to check out anyone else's sets? Chris Robinson was awesome and Foo Fighers were sic!

Hey guys!! It has been so long since I've been in here that I am totaly lost...Oh well. No matter how long I stay away I am always come back. I LOVE you guys sooo much. I am finally going to see you again tomorrow night!!! I am so excited!! Can't you tell!?!! I think I've been going through Smile Empty Soul withdrawls, hey I have the CD but it's not exactly the same as live. I have gone through a lot to be able to see this you guys again. I missed you when you came with Puddle of Mudd because you didn't come to the Norva and with all my efforts I couldn't make it to Richmond....oh but this time....hehehe....there is no stopping me. Let's put it this way I had two exams schedualed for tomorrow night during the time of the show, my friend who I always go with baled on me, plus a few other snags. Well I worked out the exams I only have to take one a bit early and rush to the Norva. Now this should tell you how much I love seeing you guys...I'm going to the concert with my Ex who I haven't seen in 5 years and our break up wasn't the best. Well now you see how your music can bring people together...even if all it will ever be is just friends. So please guys stay happy, healthy, and rock the place off it's foundation! (Personaly I don't think you'll have any problems.)

I have been trying to get a sweatshirt of SES for ever but they always have HUGE sizes (guys, think of us little girls) but they had one left on the wall that was a little kids size so I bought it. well i just got back from the hotel by the LAX airport. last night was a bollywood concert. we went to the hotel at 10 pm and left at 2.35am. we were bummed out coz we only got to see 2 of the 7 actors there. i got my pic taken with one of them too. but we went back to the hotel this morning. we left my house at 9 and coz of all the LA traffic, we got there at 11. we got to meet and take pix with 4 more actors. most of them were pretty nice, but one of the actors was sooo stuck up! so yeah we all had a great time, i got to aee 6 out of 7 and meet 5 out of 7. and i think i FINALLY convinced my mom and aunt to go with me to the May 21st show!!

selma, i agree, that part in all my problems is like my fave! that would be cool if those lines were on a shirt, i would want one, but my parents and school would make me take it off, lol. another quote thig that i like is this:"Opinions are like assholes. Everyones got one and it stinks!" i would love to have a shirt that said that.
