Derek, i responded last entry but i was in the hundreds so i'm sure you guys didn't have time to read it with like 250 comments. jeez. yeah, anyways, you guys rock!!! I heard Bottom of a Bottle on the radio and thought that it was different and made me get interested. After seeing all 3 music videos and finding this site, i bought your CD. oh my fucking god!!! i was totaly blown away. all the songs me and my step-sister Tawnya could relate to. we were shocked and motivated. We live in Spokane WA(which you are skipping on your tour) and are starting a band. we are hoping to make it main stream and be able to hang out with you guys. we are gonna go to your seattle and portland show and try to stand out(which isn't hard. we just aren't as most would say normal aka dress howe we want and act how we are). If you see 2 crazy girls with a sign that says CHERRY POPTART(tawnya's nickname) that's us. If you ever stop in spokane WA we'll be walking around with a guy drummer trying to get noticed. You guys have helped us in ways that are weird. our family's are fucked up and it got really bad for me and her. we almost were stupid and tried to end the pain right then and there, but we put on your cd and stopped. there is hope, and dreams that need to come true. all we want to do is get big and be able to talk and maybe even play with you. I hope all this touring isn't killing you inside. i hope that also your normal human lives are good to. love to the rockin lemonheads!

I can honestly say that you guys stole the show right from under trapt in Johnson City, TN at downtown Rafters. You put on one hell of an amazing show. I'm the blonde girl that designed and printed my own 'SnoCore' TShirt and got all you guys to sign it, you may or may not remember. The Atlanta show was amazing but not surprising because you guys are always amazing live.I have to agree with you about the Foo Fighters too, they were amazing and Taylor is an amzaing drummer. speaking of natural disasters have you seen the previews for the day after tomorrow (i think that's what it's called . . . ) anyway, it looks good. AND, my project that I did to see whether music videos or songs standing on their own have more of an effect on opinions is due 5/11. It's looking like music does. WOW!!! You guys really are awesome!!...I was lisening to the radio one day and I heard "Bottom of a Bottle" and I was like...."WOW" First I just couldnt get that wierd feeling out of me that I get when I hear a great song. I also thought Sean sounded super hot..and suprise suprise he was. I came across the video and really loved it and couldnt get over how sexy Sean was. I tought it was the coolest thing ever. I just want to say that I love you Smile Empty Soul!! Thank you for giving us such great lyrics and songs. I first heard your song Bottom of a Bottle on the radio in my car and immediately fell in love with it, but didn't know who the band was. I then that night was instant messaging one of my good friends and she told me that I needed to get Smile Empty Soul and find out who they are 'cause they're awesome. I followed her advice seeing that she's a great friend and fell in love with Smile Empty Soul as well. Since then I haven't been able to stop listening to the cd. I would have to say that my favorite song is Silhouettes, but all of the songs are awesome. I can really relate to that song, because I have a similar situation with my parents. Great lyrics with great messages. Lots of hard work and passion went into those songs...Keep up the EXCELLENT work guys!! You rock. Come to Upstate NY, we need ya up there!!! HAPPY MOMS DAY! woohoo you guys better be nice to your moms today! hehe im so bored!!! but i was reading this book and it had this really good/sad poem in it and i thought i would share it, its short so bare with me but read the whole thing or it will be ruined here it goes:

Once on a yellow piece of paper with green lines
He wrote a poem
And he called it “Chops”
Because that was the name of his dog
And that’s what it was all about
And his teacher gave him an A
And a gold star
And his mother hung it on the kitchen door and read it to his aunts
That was the year Father Tracy
Took all the kids to the zoo
And he let them sing on the bys
And his little sister was born
With tiny toenails and no hair
And his mother and father kissed a lot
And the girl around the corner sent him a
Valentine signed with a row of X’s
And he had to ask his father what the X’s meant
And his father always tucked him in bed at night
And he was always there to do it

And he called it “Autumn”

I'm good. I had a good night, i got to play hide'n'go seek in the dark.It was hella fun! It was scary though. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!! I've told that to everyone today!!LOL. Hey, what's up?! I'm finally BACK from St. Louis ( yay )! It sucked royally cleaning up my grandma's stupid house ( which STILL isn't clean, by the way ). But luckily I got to go watch The Punisher in the theater. And I must say, that movie is fucking AWESOME. I loved it! I can't believe that I heard so many people give it bad and " 'Eh, it's okay " kind of reviews! Dude, I thought it was an UBER movie.

AHAHA and guess what. I went to the mall and bought a --you guessed it-- Punisher T-shirt! Nice, very nice. :) I'm gonna have to wear it tomorrow.

Well anywho... I bet you guys are performing right now at The Blue Note while I type this. :( Ohhhhhh so sad. But I haven't cried over the fact that I could have been standing RIGHT THERE with you guys tonight, so all's well, I guess...

I just wanted to say how awesome you are and that you need to come to nebraska sometime. if you don't do a show you should at least stop by my house and hang out for a while. i bet i could get my mom to cook you a good meal. she makes really good food. i live right off the interstate so it wouldn't be far off your drive i am sure. also i wanted to know i do a radio show on the weekends, and every weekend i get request for your songs. of course i would play them anyway, but you have tons of fans out there. keep doing what you are doing. the last time i saw you guys in concert you ruled. keep it up!
