Wow, you guys definately have a lot of uh.. dedicated fans. I have been checking out past entries and I don't think I would be able to read all those replies. Yeah, definately not 289.
I saw you guys at the Maine State Theatre on the 17th and it was the first concert I've paid for that was outside of Lewiston. I loved your performance. You guys sounded even better live, which is crazy because I don't like many bands live.
I had a great place on the floor and was standing at the metal bar almost directly in front of Sean. I paid for it though, these guys kept falling on me and the mosh pit was right behind me, but it was totally worth it.
I don't like when people are like yeah, this band is good, they sound just like Korn or whatever, but I was really reminded of Nirvana watching your performance. I love them and I haven't found another band that I can connect with the way I can with their music and Kurt's lyrics.
Sean's humor just totally felt a lot like Kurt's and you guys had a lot of presence.. But I love that you make the sound your own.
It was really beautiful.
Thank you for coming all the way to Maine to perform for us, I really appreciated it. :) I hope I can go the next time you're near here.

OMG Guys.. the show last night In Little Rock was AWESOME!!! All I can say is WOW! I was right in the front the whole time right in the middle of all the moshing!! wow, you might actually get to my post! Hell yeah I bought the Spidy 2 soundtrack! 8 Bucks at wallmart baby! I know I'm pretty cheap, but I have the album, "WHO I AM" KICKS ASS!!!!!! and actually if you really want to make my BIRTHDAY (which was on the 24th) you can have sean get off his beautiful punk ass and comment once and a while, I mean, nothing would make me happier!! Oh and I went to the Red River Valley Fair in Fargo for my birthday and went on all the rides, and I have never been so sore!!! It was fun though. I went in this spinning thing that just sucks you into the wall and I got out all tripped out and stuff, it was bitchin! But the downside to North Dakota fairs is that the Carnies are freaky. They look like they are ready to abduct! well that's all for now......... (P.S. I tried to get a select crowd to go to your concert IF you come to FARGO... or Grand Forks... you know... PREFERABLY FARGO (Grand Forks is quite a drive) but I don't know, I'll have to put fliers up when the time comes, and YES I WILL DO THAT FOR YOU. ANYTHING FOR SMILE EMPTY SOUL!!!! i would like to thank all of you as well. your music and the lyrics helped me come out of a tight spot again. i had a terriable episode of depression for no reason, and let's just say i did some real stupid stuff. at one point i almost ended everything. i locked myself in my room at that point and blasted whatever was in my sterio to drain out my screams. but your cd was in the sterio. i was screaming and not paying attention and almost reached for what would have ended my life, but then the chorus of Bottom of a Bottle came on. i stopped and sat down and cried. i realized what i was doing. i remmbered my dream too; to meet you and ryan and sean, to talk with you guys, to play and tour with you. then i though about the effects of what would happen if i died. you guys literally saved my life. thank you so much.

They didn't here at the Club Tundra either. they are real concerned about law suits. for about 30 years that venue was called The lost horrizon, christ my mom played there, and then about 2 years ago they changed the name to thirty two degrees. To make a long story short someone was attacked there so they had to change the name to something that matched the 32 thing so they would not have to redecorate anything. The action sport skate place you guys played the last time here is Syracuse is pretty cool minus the garbage smell in a few of the rooms. that place has changed names like 5-10 times as well. have fun once again. Hey... I wanted to say thanks to all of you for the awesome show in Lafayette. That turned out to be the best birthday I have ever had!! Security was definitely strict so i was surpirised I even got to meet ya'll. That was all thanks to your guy that does all the sounds stuff...I think he said his name is Jeff (he was soo sweet as all of you are). Thanks for signing the drum stick and just taking the time out to make my birthday probably the most exciting and crazy time ever!! After we left Nite Town i went straight to buy the Spider Man 2 soundtrack. We had to go to Wal-Mart cause it was the only place open. It was hilarious cause we were all drunk and just so excited about the whole night. It was so kick ass. Ya'll rock and I'll see you in New Orleans when ya'll come to House of Blues!! Ya'll definitely need to come out with us after...we would have a great time!!

Well guess what. I'm gonna be The Punisher for Halloween! How cool is that? I know, I know, I'm completely awesome. You don't have to remind me twice! ...Though it'd be nice. ;) I've got a trench coat ( though it's shiny 'cause it was actually Trinity's coat from The Matrix ) and I've got an awesome Punisher shirt that's all dirty looking like his was. Hi! I remember reading that you got some of your inspiration from the Beatles. Just went in to check my vinyl record collection and I have 13 of the Beatles original albums. Something really strange happened though when I was going through them. Although I have listened to those records many times, I never saw the four 8X10 black and white photos which were enclosed in one of the albums until I was cleaning and sorting them out the other day. Those pictures have to be about 40 years old! Now I am revealing my age, lol.
I also have James Taylor, The Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, Iron Butterfly, Cream, and several other 60's groups recordings on vinyl. I even have a 10 inch collector's album by the Police that was recorded long before Sting went solo.

I just wanted to write and tell you how awesome you guys are live. I have seen you live twice, first at X-Fest in indy and then again at May Day in indy. You're song bottom of the bottle will forever remind me of my friend Kelly, because he truly does do it for the drugs. Sup? well it is erika here you probably dont remember me but i have seen you every time you have played in the 9:30 club in D.C. well if you dont remember me it is all good i can understand...well I just wantted to let you know 3 things...#1. thanks for the advice you gave me a couple of entrees ago it really helped and like i said i bought an electric guitar and a drum set my dad bought me an acustic bass guitar my grandmother gave me her acoustic guitar and my uncle bought me a $800 electric bass guitar so reallly right now i am making my own music but lately the neighbor boys have been coming over and we have been writing songs but they both play guitar so we are looking for a drummer ...~interested?~....lol...j/p...o well ...yea thanx... #2.on the website under the link to "the album" there are cirtain songs you can listen to that are on you album and ...Radio in A Hole.. is one of them but when you click on it, it starts to play..the other side.. you probvably already knew that but just wantted to let you know so you can look into it and try to have some1 fix it... it dosent bother me b/c i have like a tone of copies of your c.d.and i listen to them 24/7 but some othewr people may want to hear it soo it is just and FYI and last but not least #3. i love yor album and every song on it but my favorite is "all my problems" and you guys have never played that song live out of every time i have seen you it is not one of your options to be your next single and you dont have a demo of it on the site i think you should play the next time you are anywhere in maryland b/c you know that i will be there and i think you all shou;d do more stuff with it that song rocks and has a great guitar part to it PLAY IT! well that is all let me know what you think about all that...

well i just thought i would say thank you once again for making such great music.I know i speak for every fan when i say It really helps people get thru whatever theyre goin thru and people can relate to the songs on your cd. the cd helped me alot today. see i had just got on the computer and was talking to Whitney when my mom, dad, and brother start lookin thru pictures that we had took with the Bollywood actors. and i hear my dad saying, look Micheles the fattest one in the picture and all this other stuff. that really hurt me coz i know i am fat but damn hearing them say that and then laugh about it really hurts. and its not fair because they are always saying oh your fat you need to lose weight and then when i try to go on a diet they dont buy me the stuff that will help me with it. and I mean the actresses we took pix with were all former beauty queens, one was miss universe and the others were miss india and stuff, so of course theyre like really skinny and pretty. but thats really stupid to compare me to them u know? so i was crying a little and i was tellin Whitney bout it and then my mom comes and says youve been on the computer the whole day, get off and go do some work. i had only been on for 20 minutes. so i just went to my room and i was about to cut myself again BUT i didnt, i listened to the ses cd and that helped me soo much. thank you. right now my mom, dad, and brother are all outside doing yardwork coz they want to make the house look nice coz my dad wants to sell the house and hes too cheap to hire someone to do it. he is gonna put the house for sale and he already put my 745i silver bmw on sale too. i didnt even get to drive that thing :( and now its gonna be sold because he wants to get all the money from that and the house and move into a bigger house and open up another business. i dont want to move. and my uncle left with his wife and my 3 little cousins today to go look for houses over in arizona, they want to move over there. i dont want them to move, i love my little cousins so much they are like my brothers and sisters, i am so close to them. today is not a very good day for me as you can tell by reading this. blah blah blah, i know, i am taking up space with my useless little rant, but sorry, i had to get it out.

I wrote a poem with you guys in it, basically saying how you've helped me out with some of my problems, thanks bunches! the poem is called "A Suicide Letter." Here ya go:

And placed it on my bed as I picked up a knife

All this time I thought I was living so much strife

THE CONCERT LAST NIGHT IN COLUMBIA, MISSOURI WAS THE BEST EVER!

Dude, I had the TIME OF MY LIFE. Mostly thanks to Derek for sticking around and looking at my drawings. And of course, thanks to Ryan who was the one who made Sean look at his, and then also asking ME for a hug ( I always thought it'd be the other way around )! Though both Ryan and Sean just seemed to dissapear into thin air later on... :P It was all SO cool. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

The smile on Sean's face when he looked at my drawing made my entire month... no wait, it made my fuckin' LIFE, dude! I just could not believe that he liked it that much. I am UBER happy. I actually almost felt like crying when he hugged me!

So Derek, what did Sean do with his? And what'd you do with all the other drawings? Are they all over your bunk so you can see 'em when you wake up?? HAHA you're so awesome... Dude, did you guys show 'em to Steriogram? Because I told Tim that he got a new fan that night, and guess who it is... ME! They're freakin' cool and Tim is REALLY nice. You can tell them that they can be expecting some of those drawings from me sometime! They're really great performers and Tyson has the coolest accent out of all of them. :P

Hey, I almost forgot. I wanted to tell you something at the concert last night, Derek, but I kind of chickened out. You know when I told you that you could have ALL of my drawings? And then you were like, "Oh, but it's all your hard work!" Well, I wanted to say, "Yeah, but think about all the hard work you guys have done to get your band out there. You went through all that hard work to get your music out to me and to hundreds of others, so I've just gone through all this hard work drawing these to show you my thanks for yours!" Yessa yessa! But I can't believe I chickened out...

Man-oh-man-oh-buddy-oh-man! I'm actually really sad that you three aren't touring anymore! That was only the second concert I've ever been to ( both were yours, of course ). I can't wait almost a whole year for you three to come back to Missouri so I can see you again! That concert last night was the BEST ever!! I screamed the lyrics to every song; it was UBER. I also bought a SES hoodie ( YAY I love hoodies ), another SES t-shirt, and a SES wristband! And of course, I grabbed a crap load of free Steriogram and Smile Empty Soul stickers.

OH DUDE, DEREK! Since you will be home, you guys should get a P.O. Box where all your fans can send you things like letters and gifts! That'd be AWESOME. Really, you should think about it. Think, like, VERY HARD.

Oh yes, I almost forgot. The "S." stands for Sanford if you didn't see that written on the folder! I hate my last name... it's on almost every pencil! Haha, so now everytime you see a pencil with "Sanford" written on the side ( or even a pen ) you're going to have to think of me! But you know, it all works out since I was the ( first ) one who drew you stuff.
