i can't wait for cherry poptart to get back here. we got rid of the drummer, he though we weren't serious about getting big, so we are on the look out for another. but right when we get a drummer, we are gonna get together a demo to hand out. we are working really hard, and hopefully we'll be noticed so we can tour with you guys. that would rock.

i would like to thank all of you as well. your music and the lyrics helped me come out of a tight spot again. i had a terriable episode of depression for no reason, and let's just say i did some real stupid stuff. at one point i almost ended everything. i locked myself in my room at that point and blasted whatever was in my sterio to drain out my screams. but your cd was in the sterio. i was screaming and not paying attention and almost reached for what would have ended my life, but then the chorus of Bottom of a Bottle came on. i stopped and sat down and cried. i realized what i was doing. i remmbered my dream too; to meet you and ryan and sean, to talk with you guys, to play and tour with you. then i though about the effects of what would happen if i died. you guys literally saved my life. thank you so much.

well guess what i did? i took all the posters off one of my walls, and i wrote "Smile Empty Soul" in BIG letters on the wall, and then wrote "Sean Danielson-Guitar Derek Gledhill-drums Ryan Martin-bass" around the letters...all in black, then i traced over them in white out (my walls r blue), and the i took a big black marker, and wrote all ur songs, including the ones off the soundtracks...then on my white dresser, thats beside my desk, which is infront of the wall, i wrote "God Hates Me Music"...i told my mom to come here, and i showed her, and she like just stared at it 4 the longest time! haha! and then she said "u know how hard that's gonna b to cover up?" and i said "as long as i'm here, its not gonna b covered up", then she said "ur dad's gonna kill u", i just simply shrugged, and said "so...". b4 i showed her what i did, i told her, "remember, its MY room"...so after that, she was already freaked...it was so kool to c the look on her face though!!! i wish i had a camera! haha....well yeah, i'ma go 4 now, but i'll write later, i know...p3ac3!

Aw, Derek, I love you too! we did miss u guys! I'm so glad u posted! I've got great news... Chasing August(the band i am managing) is going to be touring to California at the end of Sept! THey are so excited. they are on tour right now with The Pennyroyals and Never Heard of It. Playing Maryland tomorrow night. So I'm going up to make sure everything runs smoothly.They met Christy Carlson Romano the other night in NYC. THey are still excited about that! Anyway, if u get the chance, check them out on purevolume.
BTW, how's the Bo Flex? IN the living room yet? LOL R U running in that horrible heat out there? If u are, make sure you stay hydrated!(I know you will).

wow did i miss ya! i got back the 24th from michigan to south carolina. so that is cool that you got to go home too. well i don't really feel like i am home i am more at home in michigan. with my mom....sigh...i went to see evanescence with her 3 days grace was there and so was seether (awsome) and breaking benjamin. it was a really great show but we had lawn seats and the crowd sucked i wish we could've been up front i would've gone crazy....especially if you guys were on stage. i can't wait unitl you guys start touring again. i am determined to see ya this time.so promise me you'll come back to charleston.....:(....well lets see i really miss my mom and i really am not looking forward to skool. but i did get in the top 10% of my class i got a letter in the mail the other day..so that is cool. i am thinking about sound engineering......so if i can't perform at least i can work with bands and stuff. i have been working on some new songs.... mabey i will post a few....well i guess i will chat with you later. that would be fricking awsome.

'Cause I do believe that's the Spider-Man symbol tattooed on his fingers, is it not? Also, Sean did say that he'd never make a song for a movie unless it was going to be bad ass, and there's a SES song on The Punisher and the Spider-Man II soundtrack. So yeah, I was just wondering... If he likes comic books or something, I'd love him even more than I do now and that's just SCARY to think about. But most likely, he doesn't; he just found that the movies were awesome without being a fan of the comics.
Well, I have TONS of questions I want to ask you three, but I'm hungry, so I'll save 'em for later. Right now I'm gonna go eat some cereal and probably watch The Smurfs on TV or something. well its officially my birthday in virginia...its 1:13 am...yep, i'm 16 now...nothin really changed...hmm..i dont even feel different! what a rip off! ha..well yeah, i wrote a poem right after i turned 16 (12 am), and its about turnin 16...i dunno...should i post it? i guess so...its kinda corny to me...but yeah..i'll let ya'll read it...and i can take bad critizism, i'm not that good a poet (haha i spelled poem right! and bonus, i spelled poet right too! o yeah, that one was 4 u chelsi!) here it goes...o and bare w. me, i'm tryin to read it from the paper, in the dark...

k, thats it...i know u may b thinkin "god, miss doom and gloom" if u read my other poem, but i dunno..i'm not really..i just write what i feel...it helps me release...just like music...o and i did some little stupid things while i was listenin to my SES cd...here goes somethin i came up w.:

Ashton, i think ur poem is awesome..i would share it w. my friend, but i tried to show him the one that girl kelley wrote, and he freaked sayin he couldnt read it...he said it brings back memories, so i told him, then he wouldnt b able to read some of my other poems...i wish he'd read them...they're really great! but he's one of those people that doesnt like to face what happened...i did, so he should..but whatever thats his business...and omg! u r so lucky! Its good to write again. somehow i never get near the top..nearest i have ever gotten is the 62nd post down. Dam, someday im gonna go see SES in concert, I don't think i have ever been to a real concert, i only go to lots of small concerts. Well, i missed SES and all the fans so much.
