so friday the 10, me and cherry went and saw a local show which some of our friends were playing. you should check them out, Mourningmusic.com . anyways, it was their last show ever because their drummer is leaving. to make things worse, they were gonna go on like a 3 month tour and it had to be cancelled. so now the remaining 3 are jobless, broke, and whatever else. but it was a great show.

yeah, so once again, we got a new drummer. seriously, what is up with drummers joining and then be like "nah, i don't really want to any more"? but yeah, and we are also going to get another guitarist. this summer, road trip!

*******i have to tell you my sad story about a mean cop...... so i had my moms car friday at school...i never have it but she let me borrow it so i could come home and then go to wheatland music festival... anyways i dont have a parking pass so trying to do the right thing i parked in visitors parking...or so i though... stupid me i read the sign wrong and was in the one next to visitors.... but i didn't realize that till i got back after marching band...anyways... i had a parking ticket and i felt really stupid and was a bit upset but i thouhght if i just went to the police dept. and told them my mistake they would forgive me .... well *********** central police arent forgiving and theyre really mean ********** i tried to explain to the cop that i was trying to do the right thing and that it had been early like 6 am and that i was really stupid and sorry....... so he started yelling at me and said i was just another kid trying to get out of a ticket.....yeah no im not and i would have rather paid the ticket right then and there instead of going and getting yelled at............so i left crying and i got in the car and i felt like a total mindless ass....and i turned the car on and bottom of a bottle was on ............*******************I WAS SO HAPPY IT JUST TOOK MY BAD MOOD AWAY I BLASTED IT AS HIGH AS IT WOULD GO *****************so i just wanted to say thank you smile for helping my crappy day good again

HEY HEY HEY!! I just got back from CO, from a concert, We drove for 12 hours to get there! And I just got back, we went Friday.....it was ok, i didnt have much fun tho... Before I left, I went out with a few friends, and we went to the premire of Resident Evil, it was SAWEET!!! I had so much fun!! The whole way there and back, i was jammin' to SES and My Jonny Lang! It was awesome! I had my cd player all the way up, you could hear it in the whole car! It was funny, it pissed my Aunt and dad off, my nephew thought it was funny. HAHAHA!! Eat mt shorts man! I love music!!! YAHY!! hey guys! thursday was my birthday. i'm an RA in a college dorm this year and i was on duty on my 20th. the night went fine, until 3 female RAs were chillin' in a room and some drunk dude comes in and closes the door. we tell him he's not in a good situation and he should go to bed. he asks if he can whack off first and then asks for some underware from an RA. later when we get him out of the room he runs head first into the door frame. sexually assults an RA and a very good friend of mine. we call the cops. he refuses to open his door. an hour later he goes out to smoke and gets arrested. my 11pm set of rounds which should have taken a half hour lasted 4. i didn't get the paperwork done until 3 and get to bed until 430. i had an 8am class the next day.

Hey Derek! That sucks about getting pulled over, thats never fun but I think my story's worse...
I got my license taken away for the stupidest thing but Im not supposed to be driving for another 6 months. Im on my way home from a bar (mostly sober, but not quite) and the girl Im with is hammered! I swear I wasnt speeding, the cops are just assholes by my house. So Im 2 blocks away and get stopped. This chick starts crying and I dont have a license... The cop tells me to get out of the car and grabs my purse to get my license himself but all thats in my purse is my fake Id which doesnt look enough like me to fool him. He searchs me cuz he said that my car smells like weed (which it didnt), and went back to his car. He must have been dumb and blind cuz I got off with a warning. Derek, I was so scared and I was so sure my friend was gonna mess it up but I just told the cop that she was crying cuz her b/f broke up with her. Man, I was the good one that night and I got all the shit. Grr! lol but that never fun...

OMG! the teachers were laughin about it though...and i wore my shirt that says "i'm in my happy place, back soon" on its like on this post-it thing, ha, my art teacher was like "calm down" and "dont talk to her, shes n her happy place" and he like didnt even trust me w. his sharpie so i was like " i'm not gonna sniff it..." ha, and he finally gave it to me! cause we were doin collages on our sketch books, so after i was finished, i wrote "smile empty soul" "ses" and "derek gledhill" "ryan martin" and "sean danielson" all over it...o, and "mra" ha, even though i dont know what it means, lol, i need to add more, but i really cant fit anything else, so i'll draw on the inside, lol but i was writin, and i covered up part of it, and then this one girl that i was sittin near at the time was watchin me, then i wrote "ryan martin" and she was like "whose ryan martin?" ha, so i started laughin and i said "derek gledhill, ryan martin, and sean danielson...the best effin band ever!" and she was like "what band is that?" and i said "smile empty soul" and she said "i've never heard of them" and i said "u will...u'll learn..." and kept writin...then i looked at this one girl's notebook, and it was so girly, so i said omg, this ones girly, and she looked up,and i said, "urs is really girly" and she said "well i am a girl" and i said "yeah, so am i, but u dont c flowers and shit on mine..." shes so stuck up, i hate her...and she's one of the new girls! my god! come to a new skool, and b a bitch...how fucked up is that? ha, my friend, ash, hers was so fuzzy like at first, cause she had pics of like a bunch of animals, and shit, so i helped her, make it awesome, i helped her pick pics, and i put them together n an awesome way, cause i do collages alot, and the teacher was so impressed, ha, i actually think he thought her was better, lol, but she had this one phrase "who the devil is the devil?" and it was an article, but she kinda fucked it up, cause she cut around the words...but it still turned out alright...welp, hmm, i have a pile of HW, and i know this is already too long, i'll check n later, p3ac3!

Thank u, ya'll cd has really made it easier for me to except the death of a classmate this week, her name was sara and she was beautiful and she had a great smile, everyone loved her, even those who didn't know her as well, It's hard to loose someone in a school like ours cause everyone knows everone else. when i need strength i run to music and my favorite cd's. Sara did too. The funeral was today, i've never cried so much in my life. our whole drill team was there, sara was on it, it was really hard, but your music made it easy for us to stop crying once we got in the car. thanks, and pray for our school, this is the 2nd tragedy in a month, first it was oscur and now it's sara, i hope there wont be another.

I went to Buzzfest this year with the sole intention of seeing you guys. I was telling my boyfriend we had to leave the band who played before ya'll on the center stage we had to leave early n he got mad cuz I was so obsessed. LOL... It was really funny... I was in the middle of the mosh pit, cuz I was trying to get a good view of u guyz n almost got my nose broke, but you know what? It was REALLY fun... Man i wish i could meet Seether! They seem like they would be some kick ass people. That sucks what happened with the cop, man i got pulled over the other day and i was out of town so they tried to say i stole the car i was in bc it was registered to my dad who lives in Raytown, they felt real dumb when they found out he was a cop! It was great they all said sorry like 20 times and i just said yeah you should be ass! Anyway im hopeing to make it to one of your guys concerts. ok, my wire sculptor that was dedicated u y'all, didnt work...so i just started foolin around, and i made a sculptor of the "vans" logo, and it looks really hot, so i showed it to my teacher, and he was like "thats not original", i was like "what do u mea? noone else has done this yet..." and he was like "its a brand name...its not original." i was like "omg! what?" and he said i had to do somethin different...i was like "omg, not fair...Lucas make a goose thingy, and he didnt invent the goose..." lol, but omg, so not fair, i worked hard on that shit...so i have to start over tomorrow, so i'ma make a sculpture that says "Smile Empty Soul" w. only one peice of wire...and hopefully i can do one of these "\m/" on there..that'd b real hot..lol, but yeah, its all about u guys...yep yep...ha, i'll make it original...he'll c...he'll learn...but my other one's goin on my wall...yep yep...welp, i'm out, more HW to do...god damn it...well, p3ac3!
