Hey...Im sorry to say i cant support this day because i have a brother In Iraq right now and he made it VERY clear to me that all the people trying to protest the goverment and doing little things like this arent REALLY supporting the troops if your trying to support our troops saying things like Fuck bush is not supporting them...Bush is their leader they follow under his command so if your Trully trying to support our troops you wouldnt be doing this personly i support the war because you have to see that the things they are showing on tv are mostly the bad parts there has been alot of progress in Iraq the people just dont see that...but dont say your doing this protest to support our men and women over their because your not supporting them by doing this your protesting against the goverment.. our troops work for the goverment

Yeah I'm sorry guys, I love you guy tons but I'm not supporting the "not one damn dime day". I love the music and all but i dont think what you're doing is really supporting the troops. supporting our troops means giving to them, not taking away. and if so many of you guys hate bush, think of the other alternative there was: John Kerry. a man who could not possibly be taken seriously when he says he supports our troops. we all want our troops safe, and John Kerry was opposed to this. he voted 6 times AGAINST the couple billion dollar plan for BODY ARMOR. how can we say he would have done a better job? It's too far gone in this war for peace, and we cannot turn back. Three years ago i was against the war in Iraq because i didnt understand why we were there, or even what we were trying to do. now i do. we are there to create peace. There must be war before we can have peace. The world will be better when democracy is secured.

Sounds interresting and it's a good idea, but unfortunately a lot of the people won't participate:( Glad to hear the album is going good, can't wait to hear it. You guys will have to hurry and finish it and go back on the road so I can see yall playing! Yay! BYE GUYS!

Hey...i heard from my brother today for the first time in 5 months he got to call i brought up the "not a damn dime" thing (read my last post youll see i dont support it) and he said it was the MOST retarted thing he has ever heard if you are trying to support our troops doing this is not a good idea the troops support bush he is their leader they take under his command the troops support the war no madder if they signed up to get collage money or they are takeing it as a carrear they signed the contract KNOWING there was some chance they were going to iraq and would be called up for duty our troops need us to support them and support their leader not work against it all they are over their Trying to give another country the freedom of speach like we have someone said in another comment above they wonder what bush would think and haha it would be funny cuz he cant do a damn thing about it well Iraq wasnt like that if their leader found something like this he would find them and kill them as much as i want my brother and all the troops home I still support the war my brother has preached to me many many times to support it its for the right cause so seriously saying fuck the war and fuck bush and doing not a damn dime day isnt helping to support our troops its truthfully working against them think about it

How about you form your own opinion instead of just following whatever your brother says? There's just as many soldiers fighting right now who DON'T believe in why we're there. That's true the government should be ending what they started instead of taking their time with it. But, that's the government for you. I hope Bush can bring Osama out of hiding, so he can suffer like the U.S. did after 9/11. I went to church for the first time in about 2 to 3 year's last weekend and 9/11 was brought up. I think Bush is worried about weapons of mass distruction than Osama. But, I'd really would rather have Bush than Kerry, because Kerry showed no strength and no interest in Osama. So, until Osama hung from a tree... I'm not satisfied with the government...

I'm with mom on this one... there is no need to say all this fuck bush stuff guys. Believe it or not... he thinks he's doing the right thing. I think things will work out in the end. I would really like to say that I support this day, but retail is how I make my living. If retail stores don't make money, then they don't have money to pay their employees. It may not matter much to some people, but I am a broke college student who needs every penny I can get. One bad day of sales at my store, and they are cutting hours like crazy, so imagine what would happen if they didn't make any sales at all. Yeah, this war sucks, the troops need to come home. But, to be honest, not spending money for one day isn't going to bring them home. Sorry.

I remember something like this a few months back maybe...when no one was supposed to buy gasoline for a day, which in the long run, people ended up buying gasoline. None the less, this is a good idea. Just maybe it`ll spark something. Who knows, right? But it is worth a shot. And that is a shot I am worth taking.

It is also refreshing to see another band take a stand on something political. The only other band that comes to mind that had something meaningful to say politically would have to be Rage Against The Machine. It`s nice to see another band giving a damn instead of just showing off their houses on MTV cribs.

Here in Montana it's pointless to take sides on things like this because we are so far away from everything. The only thing we've got is a shit load of poeple down there and we do want them back. I' trying to think of something happy to write but school has been very sad. On Sat. we had a boy in my grade take his life. in such a small town everyone knows who he is and it's really horrible. last person you'd expect to do that. I wish that everyone especialy teenagers would understand that things do get bad but they wont stay that way forever. This death will hurt forever but we will get over it. I don't want to get up in the mornings & wish that I didn't have to go on with my day but I know things will get better. I'm still waiting. And Ill keep waiting I just wish everyone felt this way when they cant go on.
